After weeks of speculation on whether Britney Spears will be performing at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, the air has finally been cleared.

U2 Delays New Album Release
Hot news for U2 fans! Bono and gang are putting together a new album, and this time it's not a re-release of their old songs.
U2 has already penned 50 to 60 songs for the new album, which was originally set for release at the end of 2008. However, Bono pushed back the album release to early 2009, saying that they have hit a rich songwriting vein and they don't want to stop just yet.
U2 hopes that 2009 will be their year once more.
Bow Wow In Sex Scene
Not only does Bow Wow have a music career, he's also going to star in a hit Hollywood series, Entourage. Now here's the catch: Bow Wow is going to act, in the buff.
The singer will star in a steamy bed scene as part of the show, but he only found out that he had to be naked on camera, after finding only a bath robe in his trailer on set.
We're very sure his female fans will get a kick of out of seeing him in the nude though.
Jennifer Lopez Remembers Pregnancy With Pictures
Jennifer Lopez is a mummy of twins now, and she's loving it so much, she's making sure she'll have a permanent memory of her pregnancy, not only in thought, but in pictures as well.
J Lo commissioned a professional photographer to capture her and Marc Antony as expectant parents. The photographs were compiled into a book two weeks before she gave birth to her twins, Max and Emme.
Metallica Album Leak
With the rise of the internet, album leaks spread like wildfire and Metallica are the latest victims with their new album Death Magnetic.
The new album from Metallica was accidentally sold earlier than the slated release date of September 12, in a record shop in France. The early sales resulted in the album leak on the internet. The band however, is unfazed by the leak and is confident of the album sales.
The band had earlier released a single called "Cyanide," from Death Magnetic for download.
