Britney Not Performing For VMAs

After loads of rumors saying that Britney will be performing again at this year's 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, her manager has finally come out and denied it all.

Manager, Larry Rudolph, confirmed that Britney will not perform at the event because she is busy recording her album. Britney, however, appeared in the VMAs promotional clips alongside host, Russell Brand.

The VMAs will premiere on September 8, so be sure to catch the star-studded same-day telecast, with performers like Rihanna, the Jonas Brothers and Lil Wayne, to name a few.


Fall Out Boy's 'Political' New Album?

Fall Out Boy will be releasing their new album in November.

The record is entitled Folie A Deux, which means "the shared madness of two." Bassist Pete Wentz hints that this album might have political overtones. It is set to be released on the American election day.

The boys also released a mixtape for free download on their website recently.


Metallica Unveils New Song Online

Online is the hippest place to release your songs lately, and Metallica keeps up with the trend by putting up a new song for live streaming on their website!

The song is called "My Apocalypse," and is the final song off the record. The track features a driving drum beat and a frantic guitar section. This is the first complete studio version of a song fans can hear off the album.

The album Death Magnetic, will be released next month.


R. Kelly's New Legal Woes

R. Kelly was acquitted for his previous trial for child pornorgraphy, but the man may be in the hot seat again. This time, for a tour scam.

A tour scammer reportedly absconded with the money after convincing some people to join a tour of Africa. She later deposited $1.5 million into R. Kelly's account. The police will now question the singer about the money.


Madonna's Personal Exhibition

A new album, a documentary, and a world tour, Madonna is never satisfied just doing one thing. And the latest offering from the Queen Of Pop, is a personal exhibition!

Madonna is set to exhibit 300 personal items to the public for the first time ever, next year. The event is entitled Simply Madonna: Materials Of The Girl, and will be held in London. It will include the pink dress from her "Material girl" video and her costumes in Evita.
