Snoop Dogg Goes Bollywood

A while back, we reported that Snoop Dogg was going country with a Johnny Cash remake. Now it seems he is making music for another country altogether.

The dogfather has co-written the title track for a Bollywood film. He has also made a video for the song, which is called "Sing is King," where he wears a bejeweled turban along with some retro clothes.

Snoop also said that he plans to tour India.


Michael Jackson Announces New Album

Michael Jackson seems intent on releasing another album before his 50th birthday.

The King of Pop will put out a record entitled, well… King of Pop, on August 25. It is set to contain 18 of his greatest hits, which have been chosen online by his fans.

MJ will turn 50 come the August 29.


Is Beyonce's Skin Colour Digitally Altered?

When an ad featuring Beyonce appeared in a magazine recently, fans and critics were abuzz with rumors that the advertisers had digitally lightened her skin tone.

L'Oreal, the company behind the ad campaign, has publicly denied changing the color of Beyonce's skin. Beyonce meanwhile has yet to comment on the controversy.

The advertisement is for a hair coloring product.


Akon Skips Court Appearance

Akon might have pulled a page out of Britney's playbook by not appearing at a court session recently.

The Senegalese rapper was to be charged for allegedly throwing a 15-year old fan, Anthony Smith, off stage last year. He is being indicted for second degree assault and endangering a minor.

Akon has been ordered to appear at a later date next month, failing which the case will go to trial.


Usher Rehires Mum As Manager

It seems mother knows best, as Usher has rehired his mum to be his manager.
