Hennessy Artistry 'The Global Art of Mixing' Rocked KL with
Flo Rida, Machi, DJ Latin Prince, Pop Shuvit and VJ Callen

The latest Hennessy Artistry 'The Global Art of Mixing' party shook the grounds of Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena recently with a superb party that hit the highs of sophisticated clubbers all over town. Pulling out all the stops for the recent soiree, the event saw more than 3,000 party goers congregate for one magnificent night of stellar performances by some of the world's finest performers. A blend of beautiful and sophisticated party-loving people from radio DJs, VJs, actors, singers, celebrities, models and even a hand full of former Miss Malaysia all turned up to celebrate the biggest party to hit Kuala Lumpur this year. The fusion of musical acts from the East and West that lined-up for the night sizzled from beginning to end and put clubbers on an astral journey of canorous beats.
Staying true to its trademark, the Hennessy Artistry party had guests' in complete amazement as they entered the "Art of Blending" tunnel, leading to the main party arena. Jaw-dropping expressions spread across the faces of punters as they took in the chic décor that clad the entire venue. Completely revolutionizing the arena into a classy world-class club set-up, the hall featured giant chandeliers, countless plasma screens displaying head-turning visual and beautifully-lit bars that served a liberal flow of Hennessy city cocktails. There where four themed elevated platforms, each named after a significant city for Hennessy VSOP, they were - Paris, Miami, Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur.
Partygoers, who showed up as early as 7.00pm in their best party outfits, were charged up with anticipation as they admired the scene and moved to the skilful tracks mixed by DJ Syane. By 9.00pm, the arena was filled with guests anxiously waiting for the performances to start.
Belinda Chee and Pamela Chong, who were the lovely emcees for the night, got the crowd raring to go before bringing out the first star act, Pop Shuvit. The local rapcore group had the crowd in a frenzy as they flawlessly delivered their well-loved hits including "Mara Bahaya," "Jump," and "Freakshow."
Before exiting the stage, the boys from Machi leapt out to excited cheers of surprise and joined Pop Shuvit for their last song. Machi went all out with their signature energetic performance as they charged through their smash hits, including the landmark single that was remixed with Missy Elliott's "Work It," "Jump 2003." Melody Yeung, dressed in a show-stopping sequinned dress, joined her band mates to perform "Mei Ban Fa (没办法)," then performed her solo hit "Tian Sheng Yi Dui (天生一对)," as well as a cover of Rihanna and Jay-Z's "Umbrella."
Partygoers were psyched when MTV VJs Utt and Taya made a surprise appearance to introduce the night's main attraction, Flo Rida. Jumping straight into his performance with "Ack Like You Know," then hitting it up with "Elevator," "Roll," "In The Ayer," "Ms Hangover" and "Priceless," the US hit rapper was pumping it up with a lyrical jam that had urbanites bursting with excitement. Touting Hennessy as his favourite drink, the man of the hour certainly knew how to charm the crowd as he got them cheering "Hennessy" and "Flo Rida." Of course, the best part of the performance had the entire arena blaring with exhilarating cheers when the intro of "Low" hit the airwaves.
The party then continued with turntable specialist DJ Latin Prince, who, accompanied by dazzling visuals provided by VJ Callen, kept the adrenaline high and music enthusiast moving on the dance floor. Hitting up the best of club hits and mixing it up with hip-hop, house and a mish-mash of booty shaking tracks, it was hands in the air for everyone as the wheels of steel kept spinning.
There was also plenty to do outside the arena as clubbers took a breather. A DJ mixing booth at the reception area also provided music enthusiasts a chance try their hand spinning their own tunes. The "Art of Mixing Booth," was complete with a turntable tutor to give interested guests pointers on how to blend party tracks. Party guests got all decked up in their finest for the party, and they got to commemorate the night, as well as their gorgeous outfits, with a snapshot at the Hennessy Wall of Fame, where the cameras never stopped clicking.
With delectable drinks, a winning combination of highly-charged class acts and a rich blend of sights, sounds and tastes, Hennessy Artistry certainly brought to life their concept of the 'Global Art of Mixing.' The Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena was bursting at the seams with happy party people way until the early hours of the next morning. Proving that music truly brings people together, it seems Hennesy Artistry 'The Global Art of Mixing' have truly achieved their goal to present "the ultimate clubbing experience." It's no wonder these parties have been the buzz of the town since the start of the year, and if their latest bash is any indication, the hype will be carrying on well until the end of the year.
