Bloc Party's Bassist Quits?

Bloc Party's bassist has called it quits. For a little while, at least.

Gordon Moakes will be taking a break from the band's touring schedule while he prepares to become a father! He will be staying home with his wife as she is due to deliver soon.

In the meantime, Tommy Sparks, a friend of the band, will cover for Moakes while he is on paternity leave. Moakes will return at the end of August, and will be, according to him, "bringing [back] some profound wisdom as a new father, if not a complete lack of sleep."

Arctic Monkeys Back In Studio

The Arctic Monkeys are said to be returning to the recording studio to work on their third album.

The Sheffield foursome were so inspired by their performance at Glastonbury that they've decided to work on new material earlier than scheduled. They are set to spend two weeks working on the new record.

Guitarist Jamie Cook said that he was excited, but did not know which direction the music would go.

Other bands included in the popular game range from the likes of Avenged Sevenfold to The Who.

Brad and Angelina Sell Baby Photos

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie welcomed their twins into the world last weekend. And as it turns out, they are certainly million dollar babies.

A magazine has reportedly offered the couple $11 million USD for the first pictures of the twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marchelline.

The couple had reportedly sold pictures of their first child together, Shiloh, for $4 million USD.

Well, I suppose the going rate is double for twins.
