Staind's New Release

Lovers of American Rock would be glad to know that Staind is just about done with their latest album, which happens to be their sixth.

The record is called The Illusion of Progress, and lead singer Aaron Lewis has revealed that it will be a departure from their previous release. The new album will feature more guitar solos and even a gospel choir.

The Staind frontman has also said that he hopes to issue his solo effort sometime in the future.

Although Britney seems to be on the road to recovery, her child custody troubles are still far from over.

Kanye's Mom's Surgeon Arrested

The surgeon who had operated on Kanye's mother, which supposedly resulted in her death, has been arrested for driving under the influence.

Dr Jan Adams has been picked up by the police on suspicion of drunk-driving. He may get his medical license suspended as a result.

Miss Donda West had passed away after receiving plastic surgery earlier this year.


Madonna Hits The Million Mark

There has been much hype over Lil Wayne breaking the million album record. Last week, Madonna also broke the million mark in her own way.

The Queen of Pop has sold over a million tickets of her Sticky And Sweet Tour, with many tour stops already selling out. As a result, she is likely to include more locations as well as extend the tour to 2009.

The tour will take her from America to Europe as well as Japan and Australia.


Jay-Z Triumphs At Glastonbury

Jay-Z headlined the Glastonbury festival over the weekend, and despite such detractors as Noel Gallagher, he certainly took his criticisms good-humoredly.
