Quick Cuts - Amy Winehouse Caught Smoking, Lee Ryan Charged With Assault and More!
By News Desk
Lee Ryan Guilty Of Assault
Despite boyband Blue's plans to reunite, singer Lee Ryan is still getting into trouble with the law. He was charged in court for assaulting a taxi driver last New Year's Eve.
Ryan punched the taxi driver in the head during an altercation, after his fiancée drove into the back of Naeem Ibrahim's taxi. The singer denied the charges but was still found guilty.
But Blue fans out there, don't worry. Lee Ryan was only fined a paltry sum.
Amy Winehouse Caught Smoking
We reported yesterday that Amy Winehouse's father has said that she has emphysema, which causes damage to her lungs. But apparently, her dad was mistaken!
Wino's spokesperson amended the statement, saying that she was diagnosed with early signs that could lead to the illness, but does not have it yet. She has also been warned to stay away from drugs and cigarettes if she wants to recover.
However, it seems Amy is unable to shake her bad habits. She was seen lighting up a cigarette right after she was discharged from the hospital to rehearse for her appearance at the Nelson Mandela concert on Friday, June 27.
Looks like Amy just wouldn't learn.
