Amy Winehouse's Jailhouse Blues

Not again!

Amy Winehouse has been an all-too-familiar face in court lately, but fans can rest easy for now. The crooner with the big hair was just there yesterday, as a show of support for her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil. He was charged for trying to bribe off a bartender after assaulting him. Despite rumors that the couple had split up, Amy was openly flirting and blowing kisses at Blake throughout the trial. At one point, the judge even told her off.

It looks like Amy Winehouse constantly has trouble heading her way, even when she isn't looking for it.


Metallica is Guitar Hero's new Hero!

It looks like Metallica will soon be joining the ranks of Aerosmith, to be the second famed name to have a special edition of Guitar Heroes, based entirely on their music!

Guitar Heroes is a fanatically popular computer game that unleashes the heavy metal head-banging rockstar wannabe in every one of us. Fans of and Metallica can look forward to the game's release in early 2009.

That's quite a bit of time left to actually pick up some real guitar skills, don't you think?


Lily Allen Bites In New Movie

Lily Allen has jumped onto the bandwagon of artists who dabble in both singing and acting.

Shooting for the movie entitled Lesbian Vampire Killers (yes, you read right) has just begun, and Lily has a cameo as a what else, blood sucking, lady loving vampire. The leads in this British horror flick are James Corden and Matthew Horne from Gavin And Stacey.

Besides getting into her role, Lily disclosed on her blog that she has also been working on her second album with Mark Ronson, which is close to completion.


Coldplay Not Ready To Be Sexy!

Coldplay and Kylie Minogue collaborated on a song called "Lunar" for the former's upcoming album Viva La Vida. But unfortunately, the track was given the axe in the final selection process. Apparently, it was deemed too sexy!

"She writes most of our stuff - and we design most of her outfits," joked Chris Martin.

On a more serious note, Coldplay also said that although Kylie was particularly brilliant on the track, the band does not think now is the right time for them to be too sexy.

What a pity, we say.

Viva La Vida will be out in stores on June 12, and there is also word that a fifth LP is scheduled for release late next year.


R. Kelly's Trial Updates

At the halfway mark of R. Kelly's trial for child pornography, these are some of the points the prosecution has established so far.

Forensic video experts have confirmed that the video was taken in R Kelly's room in Colorado and that the video was not fabricated.

Family members and friends have also identified the girl in the video to be around 13 years old at that time the video was made.

R Kelly's defense lawyer suggested that it was a set up and that it was not R Kelly in the video.


Panda-monium Strikes!

Jack Black lends his distinctive voice to Po, the Kung Fu Panda, and talks about the meaty (pun intended) role he has landed.

"I did not live with the pandas. I still have never seen a panda at a zoo. I just grew out my beard," the funnyman quipped.

No prizes for guessing but simply put, the movie is about a panda who dreams of becoming a Kung Fu Master, and learns to believe in himself along the way.
