Movie Minute: Made Of Honor

Made of Honor is a new romantic comedy starring Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan. In the film, Michelle's character, "Hannah," asks Dempsey's character to be her man maid of honor. Interestingly enough, Monaghan had a man of honor for her real life wedding.

"I had a man of honor, I did! My best friend is a guy. You know,I have a lot of great girlfriends but he's been my oldest friend and so I thought, 'Oh what the heck I'll ask him,' and he happily obliged."

Michelle told us that the man of honor similarity was one of the things that drew her to the movie. "I know, it's really wild so, when I read the script it was really, really cool 'cause I thought, 'All right people are you now recognizing that it's kind of a modern thing and people nowadays have best friends of the opposite sex.' So yeah, immediately I was really excited about the script."
