Movie Minute: Prom Night

Prom Night stars Brittany Snow and Scott Porter, who told us the film doesn't have anything in common with the 1980 Jamie Lee Curtis flick.

"I think it's great that they explain the motive for this killer. It's not just a serial killer who's out too…there's nothing paranormal about it. People ask if it's a remake of the original Prom Night. It's not, it just shares the same name." Porter told us a bit about the killer in this film. "It's a completely different story, there's no paranormal ghost or spirit of vengeance or anything like that. It's a real person who has real issues mentally and snapped."
