Movie Minute: Vantage Point
By News Desk
Vantage Point is the new thriller starring Dennis Quaid, Matthew Fox, Forest Whitaker and William Hurt. It tells the story of an attempted assassination of the president told from various different perspectives. Quaid told us the film is a fun journey. "What's interesting and so exciting about this movie is that an audience member, you know it's a puzzle really, and you try to put this thing together within this time clock, this 15 minutes very compressed. You know the assassination, trying to find out who did it and why it happened and as an audience you are putting together the puzzle along with the characters in the film." Matthew Fox plays a Secret Service agent and he hopes he did his character justice. "The Secret Service is a fairly secretive organization (laughs). And we had consultants that were affiliated with them enough to give us advice that was accurate. So, I hope that any Secret Service agents that see the movie will feel like we didn't make any glaringly bad mistakes."
