Move Your Lips Campaign

By News Desk

MTV and The Body Shop have launched the 'Move Your Lips' campaign, selling a new Limited Edition Guarana Lip Butter to raise fund.

Proceeds from every Guarana Lip Butter sold go directly to the Staying Alive Foundation funding HIV awareness and prevention for young people around the world.

In Singapore, a portion of the funds raised will go to local charity Action For AIDS as well.

While many young people believe HIV will never touch their lives, globally over 40 million people live with HIV and AIDS - shockingly, half of all new HIV infections are among young adults under 25.

MTV is supporting the 'Move Your Lips' campaign by running advertisements across all its networks in 160 countries to further educate young people about HIV/AIDS.

MTV and The Body Shop have together raised £430,000 towards the Staying Alive Foundation to-date. The funding went directly to the Staying Alive Foundation Awards, giving small grants to 85 young people to mobilise HIV prevention efforts - educating their peers and influencing and inspiring others to think about HIV/ AIDS.
