Justin Timberlake Inked Five-Year PGA Tour Deal
By MTV.com
Teeing with JT: Justin Timberlake has inked a five-year deal with the PGA Tour that will find him hosting a tournament in Las Vegas next year.
"Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open," which will be played October 13-19, will help raise funds for the Shriners group, which provides medical care at no charge to children under 18 years old. The singer will play in a celebrity-golf game that week as well.
"Raising money to better children's lives while playing golf? I can't think of a better way to pass the time," he said in a statement.
Timberlake's visibility has also landed him on Barbara Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People of 2007" list, and they'll be seen chatting on an hourlong ABC special set to air December 6 at 10 p.m. ET in the States. Former President Bill Clinton, Jennifer Hudson, Posh Spice and two surprise guests will also appear on the show.
