Attorneys for Spears, Kevin Federline Meet To 'Refine' Court Order
By MTV.com
Britney Spears' new lawyer, Sorrell Trope, and her ex-husband Kevin Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, met privately with Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon in the judge's chambers on Monday (September 24).
They discussed how to "refine" the court order issued last week that imposed random drug testing, counseling and parenting classes on Spears, who has until November to sort out some of her child-custody-dispute issues.
According to a source close to the situation, Spears' misdemeanor charges of hit and run, causing property damage and driving without a valid license have no bearing on the custody discussion, though there's no word yet if any new decision or arrangements have been made. Spears is due in court October 10 for her arraignment on the criminal charges.
