Shia LaBeouf, Amanda Bynes, More On Movie Awards Red Carpet: Who You Talkin' To?

When you see celebs gabbing on their cell phones in the background of red-carpet videos, do you ever wonder who exactly they're chatting with? Yeah, so do we.

That's why at this year's MTV Movie Awards, we asked every person we saw to tell us who's on the other line. (Now we know what was more important than soaking up the red-carpet flashbulbs.)

Shia LaBeouf: "I'm talking to Raven-Symoné. I've gotta return her pants."

Columbus Short: "Ne-Yo."

Amanda Bynes: "I'm talking to my sister, who's also on the carpet. We're gossiping about everybody!"

Andy Milonakis: "I'm talking to Johnny Depp's third cousin. I'll give him 50 grand if I can be in Pirates 4."

Tyrese Gibson: "My artist Stix that's signed to me. He's in a rock group called Life 9. He was congratulating me on everything and showing the love."

Meagan Good: "I'm texting my sister. I told her she sucks because she's not in California right now."

Alyson Michalka (Aly & AJ): "I'm talking to [Nancy Drew star] Emma Roberts. I'm telling her to come over to watch scary movies and eat cookie dough."

DJ Paul (Three 6 Mafia): "My manager. He wants to know how this was going and who got shot." (He was referring to a loud boom from the nearby Universal Studios theme park.)

Juicy J (Three 6 Mafia): "My mom. She wants a new car, so I told her to get some prices. She'll get the car."

Aaron Yu (Disturbia): "I'm talking to my publicist, asking what time this thing starts."

Arielle Kebbel (John Tucker Must Die): "I'm texting my boyfriend, 'Where are you?' "

Vanessa Branch (Orbitz girl): "My mom. I'm talking to her about going to Peru. She talks to me about it every day."
