Whitney Port Looking Out For Leonardo DiCaprio On Movie Awards Red Carpet

She may be a Teen Vogue staffer, but "The Hills" hottie Whitney Port insists she's not a fashionista.

"I'm always conscious of what I'm wearing, but I'm all about comfort," the L.A. native said. "My style is really casual. I wear jeans every day. I love being able to go to school in sweats and a T-shirt."

But that doesn't mean that she won't be going all out for the MTV Movie Awards red carpet. "It's so much fun to get all dolled up once in a while," she admitted. "Dressing up, like, this is one of my favorite things to do."

Sunday night's (June 3) big show poses an interesting challenge for the super-casual Whit. "I want to go with something short and funkier, since it's the Movie Awards," said Port, who recently hit L.A.'s hip Robertson Boulevard with BFF Joanna Scapa to score some red carpet-worthy couture. "I love colors, I love prints. Little dresses and heels. As long as I'm comfortable, it works."

And despite the Teen Vogue pedigree, Port says she's not a couture-collector. "I have a lot of Phillip Lim," she confessed. "But other than that, I don't really covet anyone specific. It's more of what grabs my attention."

Shooting her third season of MTV's reality hit "The Hills," Port has been grabbing a lot of attention herself lately. "I don't like the cameras very much, but I wanted the Teen Vogue internship, and MTV came along with it," Port said of why she joined the show. "So I just went for it, but I didn't realize how big of a deal it was going to be. It's been super fun, though. I'm cast as the working girl, and that works for me.

"I just graduated from USC, so I'm working at the magazine and trying to enjoy my summer," Port continued, before spilling a bit from the next season of "The Hills." "Lauren and Audrina just moved in together, so that's fun. Heidi and Spencer actually just had a housewarming party, so it will be interesting to see how that goes. But I can't say more than that - I'll give up the whole show."

In the meantime, Port is gearing up to do some stargazing of her own. "I'm really excited about Sarah Silverman," she said of the host. "She can be really inappropriate at times, but she's so funny. I love that the host is a girl this year. It's really empowering.

"Cameron Diaz is awesome - girly and casual, but chic," she added, dropping hints about who she'll be scoping on the red carpet. "Mischa Barton always looks amazing. And I like Leonardo DiCaprio's style. He's always classy. But I hate it when guys wear sneakers with tuxes."

Still, Port said, "I'm most excited to see Justin Timberlake," who often sports the look. "He can do no wrong."

But really, she's all about spending some quality time with her BFF Jo. "It's a girls' night! For us, it's all about hanging out, having fun," Port said. "I'm just planning to have a blast this summer, and the Movie Awards are a great way to kick it off!"
