Pattaya International Music Festival This Weekend

The Pattaya International Music Festival 2007 is back in Pattaya, Chonburi this weekend from March 16-18, 2007!

The main stage will be at the Pattaya Sports Complex Centre, Chaiyapleuk Road. The Pattaya International Music Festival has been the destination for regional artists and music lovers for a few years now. This year, for the first time in Thai music history, three music moguls are teaming up on the same stage in the same day. Also, hundreds of indie artists will perform on the Indie Stage to give the audience an unforgettable experience.

MTV Thailand presents Thai and international acclaimed artists across Asia-Pacific to perform in honor of H.M. the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary. MTV Thailand brings the renditions of The Musical Compositions of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej: "Somewhere Somehow," "Saeng Deun," "Klai Rung," "écho," "Sai Fon" and many more, performed by the sensational voices of Nop Pornchumni, Ben Chalatis, Nui the Peach Band, Beam Jaruwan and Rudklauw Amaradit under the name of the H.M.Blues. for the official opening ceremony.

MTV Thailand is also introducing international groups such as Korean girl group, Baby V.O.X. Re.V., ear-catching Austalian ska-punk group, Dr Octopus, to be featured in hot Pattaya summer with Thai reggae super groups: Kai-Jo Brothers, Skalaxy and T-Bone On March 18, 2007. Moreover, be ready to rock with compelling showcases from Slot Machine, Brandnew Sunset, Ebola and the rock legendary, Amphon Lumphoon on March 17, 2007. Plus, international acclaimed Tata Young and artists from Small Room: Lemon Soup, Tattoo Colour and Slur will hit the night with stunning performances on March 16, 2007.

The Indie Stage will showcase indie artists such as Monotone Group, Jetset're, Playground, Good September, Apartment Khun Pa, Silly Fools and more!
