The Observatory Resumes Gigging This Month
By PC
Singapore band The Observatory is making a return to the stage starting this month armed with news songs from their upcoming third album titled A Far Cry From Here, due out in April.
After almost a year off the road, the band -- Leslie Low, Evan Tan, Vivian Wang, Dharma, Victor Low, and latest member, drummer Ray Aziz -- are eager to hit the stage again and play songs from their upcoming album.
The Observatory are opening for Norwegian progressive jazz outfit Jaga Jazzist at the Mosaic Music Festival on March 13. The band are closing the NUS Arts Festival with a concert of their own on March 25 at the University Cultural Centre Theatre, NUS. Evan tells MTVAsia.com that the band will be "featuring all the songs from the new album plus some old ones" for their NUS Arts Festival concert.
