Bar None's Anniversary Bash To Raise Money For Charity

By PC

In commemoration of seven fabulous years of partying and support from esteemed partners and guests, Bar None (located at the basement of Singapore Marriott Hotel, 320 Orchard Road) is holding a Seventh Heaven - Night Of The Stars anniversary bash on Wednesday, September 20, 2006.

The appointed charity for this year is Mainly I Love Kids (MILK). As with previous years, the gross sales generated for the evening will be matched dollar for dollar by the owner of Bar None, Mr. Jason Choo, and donated to the charity organization.

The money raised from the party will contribute to the Educational Support program that MILK extends to disadvantaged children and youths.

It provides general educational assistance and helps children from disadvantaged homes gain access to early childhood education, thus developing a learning foundation that will give them an equal footing in life.

Traditionally, every Bar None anniversary party has been an open invite to renowned musicians to join in the party for a good cause. The Seventh Heaven bash is no exception.

Last year, Bar None donated $52,492 to the Riding for the Disabled Association in Singapore.

Apart from resident band Jive Talkin', guests can look forward to special performances by guest stars like homegrown bands Electrico, The Unexpected, and local musician Paul Ponnudurai, among others.

In line with the theme, all guests are encouraged to attend the party decked out in their finest threads.
