Colin Farrell In Rehab For Prescription Drug Addiction

Colin Farrell has entered a treatment center for exhaustion and addiction to prescription drugs, his publicist announced Monday.
In a written statement, the Irish actor's spokesperson said the undisclosed medication was prescribed to Farrell, 29, after a back injury, but would not give any further information on his health.
"We ask that the press respect the privacy of Mr. Farrell and his family," publicist Danica Smith said in the statement, according to a CNN report.
Farrell's publicist said the actor had completed work on his upcoming big-screen remake of the 1980s TV show "Miami Vice" before voluntarily checking himself into an unnamed treatment facility.
