Motley Crue Back For Another Round In '06
By Chris Harris (MTV.com)
The reunion no one expected to last has done so for almost a year.
Since announcing that they'd reconciled their differences after yet another bitter separation, Mötley Crüe have crisscrossed the nation twice. And true to form, they're going back for thirds.
The Crüe's Carnival of Sins Tour - one of the biggest-grossing treks of 2005, and one that was nearly derailed by two onstage mishaps -- will resume in February with 27 U.S. dates. But first, the band will perform a special New Year's Eve gig at the Palace of Auburn Hills outside of Detroit.
The band's 2006 touring schedule starts off with an appearance on February 10 at the Civic Center in Columbus, Georgia, and is slated to finish on April Fools' Day in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They'll continue with another round of European dates and a South American run before entering the studio to start work on the next Crüe LP.
Opening acts are expected to be announced soon. Tickets for all dates will go on sale November 19.
And if the band's not coming to your town, there's always the DVD "Carnival of Sins Live," released earlier this month.
