Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes Expecting Their First Child

It's official -- TomKat is having a kitten.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are expecting their first child together, according to Cruise's sister/publicist's office. (Lee Anne Devette now also represents Holmes, the actress' former rep said.)

The couple got engaged at the top of the Eiffel Tower in June after a whirlwind romance that kicked off in April. No wedding date has been set, and their rep isn't divulging details on how far along Holmes is, when she's due, or if they know the gender of the baby.

This will be Cruise's third child. He shares custody of two adopted children, 10-year-old Connor Antony and 12-year-old Isabella Jane, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, whom he divorced in 2001. The wedding will be Cruise's third and the first for Holmes.

Devette told People magazine that the couple is "very excited, and the entire family is very excited. [Katie] has never felt better."
