Jennifer Garner Suffering From Viral Infection, Could Miss Elektra Premiere
By Alyssa Rashbaum (MTV.com)
Jennifer Garner is suffering from a viral infection, which may force her to miss the premiere of her new film, Elektra.
The actress, 32, is "very sick," her publicist Nicole King told USA Today on Monday, but has not been hospitalized.
"She's taking it day by day," King said, adding that Garner was expected to see a doctor on Monday.
The actress has been forced to cancel all public appearances for the week and will have to reschedule promotion for Elektra, the comic-book adaptation in which she plays a hired assassin. King said she is not sure yet whether Garner will be able to attend the Las Vegas premiere of Elektra," which is scheduled for Saturday.
Garner is reportedly recovering at her Los Angeles home.
