Michelle Branch To Host MTV Asia Awards 2004

Michelle Branch has been slated to host the MTV Asia Awards 2004! Also appearing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium this Valentine's Day are 5566, Black Eyed Peas, Blue, Gareth Gates, Liberty X, Simple Plan, and Stacie Orrico.

Michelle Branch, a nominee in the Favourite Female Artist category, is a leading figure in the new wave of musically literate female singer-songwriters. Now, she looks set to showcase her hidden hosting talents as well.

American multi-ethnic rap crew, Black Eyed Peas, who are nominated in the Favourite Pop Act category, will dazzle fans with their energetic hip-hop stance. The group was formed in Los Angeles, with an aim to serve up radio-friendly tunes while maintaining their hardcore integrity. The Black Eyed Peas are known for their passionate hip-hop spirit, and they have earned fans worldwide with their loose rhymes and positive attitude.

Taiwan's hottest boy band, 5566, has carved their brand of music into the hearts of fans around the region. Their debut album, titled First Album, sold in excess of one million copies across Asia, while their latest album, Second Album, continues to blaze a trail among their ardent fans.

The MTV Asia Awards 2004 will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on February 14, 2004.
