Deftones Slam Metallica
By MTVE.com
Deftones front man Chino Moreno has launched a scathing attack on Metallica, Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park.Moreno's comments were made in an interview published in the August issue of U.S. magazineRevolver. Speaking about the bands on the Summer Sanitarium tour, he first laid in to Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park saying,"A big problem for me was opening for them two bands that wouldn't exist if it weren't for me."Then Moreno took a stab at headline act Metallica:"Metallica have a vast catalogue, but live? Motherf----ers just stand there and play."Metallica front man James Hetfield doesn't appear to have been upset by the comments."I think you don't take something like that personally. When someone talks smack like that, maybe it's insecurity or maybe something else is going on,"Said Hetfield to MTV.comHe continued,"And then you get on the stage and you play and it's kinda like forgotten about."
