Daft Punk Angry At French President
By SP
Daft Punk are furious that their tune"One More Time"is being used as a campaign song by one of the candidates in France's presidential election.
The party, led by President Jacques Chirac, ignored the bans from the duo and went ahead in a move to appeal to young voters.
According to BBC Radio, the band's manager Pedro Winter was not impressed,"I think that Jacques is 70 or something like that, so it would be like, 'Yeah, I'm 70 but I'm still in.'"
"Yeah, we replied by fax, telling everybody we will not accept that they use our track. Now, if they break the law, I can say that our next president is a breaker of the law."
