After breaking into the Taiwanese pop market with their self-titled debut album in 2005, indie-pop band Sodagreen has since released five career-spanning albums and won two Golden Melody Awards in 2007 and 2008 for Best Band.
In 2009, the group - Greeny (vocalist), Claire (bassist), Kay (electric guitars), A-Fu (acoustic guitar), A Gong (keyboardist), and Wei (drummer) - plans to take on “Project Vivaldi,” a mammoth endeavor of releasing four albums in a two-year time frame. In May, the band has already released the first album of the series titled Spring.Sunlight to much fanfare.
For their sixth album titled Summer.Fever, Sodagreen traveled to London for the complete production of the album. Recorded and produced at the legendary Smokehouse and Strongroom studios, the album is a rock ‘n’ roll affair that, just like the album title suggests, brings forth the fervor and enthusiasm of summer.
